About the Journal

Journal of Indonesian Society Empowerment (JISE) (E-ISSN 2987-7288, P-ISSN 2987-8160) is a peer-reviewed open access journal dedicated to advancing knowledge and practice in community empowerment and sustainable development. Published by Yayasan Lentera Avanya Nagari in collaboration with the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Universitas Tribhuwana Tunggadewi, JISE provides a platform for sharing evidence-based research, innovative practices, and reflective scholarship grounded in the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Editorial Focus: SDG Alignment (Beginning Vol. 4, No. 2 – December 2026):

Starting with Volume 4, Number 2 (December 2026), JISE will emphasize alignment with specific Sustainable Development Goals. While our research scope remains consistent with previous volumes, we now explicitly prioritize submissions addressing SDG 1 (No Poverty), SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 5 (Gender Equality), SDG 8 (Decent Work & Economic Growth), SDG 10 (Reduced Inequalities), and SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities & Communities). This thematic focus strengthens the practical relevance of research and ensures our publications contribute directly to measurable development outcomes.
