OWNERSHIP AND MANAGEMENT

1. Ownership and Management
Journal of Indonesian Society Empowerment (JISE) is published by Yayasan Lentera Avanya Nagari in academic collaboration with the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Universitas Tribhuwana Tunggadewi. The journal is not owned by a commercial publisher, and all publication decisions are made independently by the Editorial Board without commercial or institutional interference.
2. Sources of Revenue
The operational, web hosting, DOI assignment, and digital preservation costs of JISE are supported through Article Processing Charges (APCs / author fees) alongside independent publishing capital provided by Yayasan Lentera Avanya Nagari. The journal has no subscription income and receives no commercial sponsorships.
3. Advertising Policy
The journal does not accept commercial advertising. No promotional content or corporate advertising appears on its portal or within its published articles.
4. Direct Marketing
JISE adheres to ethical communication practices and does not send bulk or unsolicited call-for-papers (spam). Communication from the Editorial Board is strictly limited to authors of manuscripts under active evaluation, invited peer reviewers, and direct editorial inquiries.
5. Editorial Board and Terms of Office
The journal is managed by an Editor-in-Chief, Managing Editor, and a multi-university Editorial Board composed of scholars from various institutions. Board members are appointed for three-year renewable terms. Names, institutional affiliations, countries, and academic identifiers (Scopus, Sinta, ORCID, Google Scholar) are transparently listed on the official Editorial Team page.
6. Publication History
JISE was established in 2023 (P-ISSN: 2987-8160 | E-ISSN: 2987-7288) as a peer-reviewed open-access journal. All published volumes and issues since its inaugural edition are preserved and continuously accessible in full text through its official electronic portal archive.
7. Technical Infrastructure and Metadata
The journal operates on the Open Journal Systems (OJS 3) platform. Every article is hosted as full text at a persistent unique web address and assigned a Crossref Digital Object Identifier (DOI). Comprehensive metadata—including author names, affiliations, ORCID IDs, abstracts, keywords, and reference lists—are verified prior to publication and transmitted to national and international indexing services (e.g., Crossref, Google Scholar, Sinta).
8. Access and Publication Fees
All content published in JISE is freely and immediately available under an open-access model. Readers can read, download, copy, and distribute articles without subscription charges. Article Processing Charges (APC) and waiver policies are clearly disclosed on the Publication Fees page.
