AUTHOR GUIDELINES
Indonesian Social Science Review (ISSR) has writing guidelines that must be followed by authors to ensure the quality and consistency of publications. These guidelines cover the writing of titles, author identities, abstracts, and the preparation of other article sections. Authors can also see the Journal Template section as an example.
Title
The title is written in a maximum of 14 words, using Cambria font, size 14, bold, centered, and each word begins with a capital letter.
Author Identity
Each article includes the author's full name written without abbreviations and without academic titles or positions. Below the name, write the full name of the institution and the author's email address.
Abstract
The abstract briefly describes the article, including four components: (1) problem and objectives, (2) method, (3) results and discussion, and (4) conclusion. Abstracts are written in Indonesian and English, without footnotes or literature citations, in one paragraph with 1 space, and a maximum of 200 words. The abstract is followed by relevant keywords.
Introduction
The introduction should present the background of the problem, relevant issues, and a brief literature review (1-2 paragraphs) to justify the scientific contribution or originality of the article. Avoid writing the purpose of the article explicitly by using the title of the article. This section should also include an explanation of previous research and the theoretical literature used to analyze the problem.
Research Methods
This section includes the type and approach of research, location and time, subject, data collection techniques, analysis techniques, and research process. Explain completely and in detail according to the stages of the research conducted.
Results and Discussion
Present the data obtained and its analysis according to the purpose of the article. Use sub-subtitles according to the problems discussed, with subtitles in bold. All figures, graphs and tables should be clear and legible. Sequential numbers are given without including chapter numbers. Tables only use horizontal lines at the heading and bottom, while all figures/tables must be referenced in the text before being displayed.
Conclusions and Suggestions
The conclusion should synthesize the research problem, objectives and results. If relevant, implications and suggestions can be added. Conclusions are written in paragraph form, not as a bulleted list.
Bibliography
The bibliography is sorted alphabetically with at least 20 references listed. At least 80% of the references are from scientific journals, with a maximum of 20% from theoretical books.
