About the Journal

Journal of Indonesian Economic Research (JIER) is a scholarly journal that publishes research on the theory and practice of economic studies, specifically focusing on open-economy macroeconomics. The journal covers various disciplines such as management sciences, accounting, entrepreneurship, and the development of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs). It accepts theoretical, experimental, and empirical contributions that provide analysis for a broad audience of academics and policymakers.

The journal is officially accredited Sinta 4 by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology under Decree Number 286/DST/C3/HM.01.00/2026. This accreditation is valid starting from Volume 1 Number 1 of 2023 through Volume 5 Number 2 of 2027. All submitted manuscripts undergo a peer-review process to ensure they meet the established academic requirements for publication.
