Authors submitting to the Journal of Communication Research (JCR) retain the copyright to their work. By submitting an article, authors grant the journal a non-exclusive license to publish and distribute their work in both print and digital formats, including online platforms, for an indefinite period.

Authors are free to reuse their work in other publications or projects, as long as they provide proper acknowledgment of the original publication in the Journal of Communication Research (JCR).
