EDITORIAL PROCESS

Lenvari: Journal of Social Science (JSS) follows a rigorous and transparent editorial process to ensure the publication of high-quality research. As part of our commitment to maintaining these standards, JSS employs a double anonymous peer review process. In this process, both the identities of the authors and the reviewers are kept confidential. This ensures that the evaluation of the manuscript is based solely on the quality of the research, free from any potential bias.

  1. Initial Submission Review: Upon submission, manuscripts are first reviewed by the editorial team to ensure they align with the journal's aims and scope, and comply with submission guidelines. Manuscripts that do not meet these criteria are returned to the authors for revision before entering the peer review process.
  2. First Round Double-Blind Peer Review: Suitable manuscripts are then subjected to a double-blind peer review by at least two independent experts in the relevant field. In this process, both the authors and reviewers remain anonymous to each other. Reviewers evaluate the manuscript based on originality, methodology, significance, and clarity of presentation.
  3. Revision and Resubmission: Based on the feedback from the first round of reviews, authors may be asked to revise their manuscripts. Revisions should address all reviewer comments and be resubmitted for further consideration.
  4. Second Round Double-Blind Peer Review: The revised manuscript undergoes a second round of double-blind peer review to ensure that all revisions meet the required standards. If necessary, the manuscript may be returned for additional revisions.
  5. Final Decision: After the second review, the editorial team makes a final decision regarding the manuscript's acceptance, revision, or rejection. The Chief Editor, in consultation with the editorial board, has the final authority in this decision-making process.
  6. Ethical Standards: The journal adheres to strict ethical guidelines in its editorial process. Any potential conflicts of interest are managed according to best practices, and all decisions are made based on the manuscript’s academic merit.
  7. Copyediting and Proofreading: Accepted manuscripts are then subjected to a thorough copyediting process to ensure clarity, grammar, and formatting accuracy. Authors are provided with proofs for final approval before publication.
  8. Publication: Once finalized, the manuscript is published in the next available issue of the journal. All articles are made freely accessible online in accordance with our open-access policy.

The entire editorial process typically takes between 3 to 6 months, depending on the nature of the manuscript and the responsiveness of authors to review comments. The journal’s commitment to a thorough peer review process ensures that only the highest quality research is published.
